FOTD: My Go-To Makeup Look

I think I've finally figured out what I want Friday's posts to be.
I've decided on a "Face of the Day" post to end every week.
I'm going to show you what products I've used and what makeup look I've created.

Today I'm going to show you what I use for my day-to-day makeup.

I like to keep my makeup simple if I'm just going into town or to a friend's house. The only thing I tend to change with this look is my lip colour.

L'oreal True Match in W3 - This gives a flawless finish with a medium coverage. I find this shade is a tad pink for me but W4 is impossible to find so I'll just stick with it.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Soft Beige - This concealer is great at brightening the under eye area and also covering up any darkness.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot - I use this to set my concealer as it doesn't cake and is extremely lightweight.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - I like to apply this all over my face using a damp Real Techniques sponge. It gets rid of shine and keeps your foundation in place.

NYX Blush in Mauve - I pop a light dusting of this on my outer cheekbones to add a little colour and structure to my face as I tend not to contour.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara - Of course I use my favourite mascara to add length and volume to my lashes. I've got a full review of this here.

I would usually use Benefit Gimme Brow on my eyebrows but I've recently dyed them so they're good to go for the time being.

I kid you not when I say I took at least 30 photos on both my phone and camera before getting one that I don't look like a dying fish in.

The Face of Frustration

Do you like the idea of this kind of post? Let me know as I don't want to be posting things you guys don't want to read!

Thanks for reading :)

    1. Really? Yey! :D The blushes are so pigmented you only need the tiniest amount on your brush. They're so silky and they have a fantastic colour range :) I used to hate True Match but I love it now! Thank you :3 xxxx
